We are planning for a facility and a volunteer support structure that will not only establish a new facility that serves all of Douglas County, but also can sustain itself over time. Much fundraising and planning lay ahead. Members like you are a valuable asset to the forward movement of the mission. Current discussion centers around a facility that takes in a wider variety of domestic companion animals (more than just dogs); provides socialization of rescued strays; appropriate rehabilitation and placement of rescued animals; identifying and reporting animal abuse; and providing training and educational programs for the advancement of responsible animal ownership.

Memberships are renewed annually on January 1. Membership dues are not pro-rated.

 Individual membership is $10.00.
 Family membership is $25.00.
